MARKET PRECEDENT

Banksy’s market is at an all time high. The record for the artist was set in Sotheby’s London saleroom in October 2019, and since then multiple works have sold for over $2.5m. It is notable that the only other Banksy/Hirst collaboration to have come to market, Keep it Spotless, set a record for the artist when it sold in 2008, and remained the highest price for his work at auction until the same of Devolved Parliament in October 2019.
