A mericana Week includes many notable works from important American private collections and institutions. Fine furniture, decorative arts, folk art, silver, Chinese export ceramics, prints, historic maps, books, and manuscripts are all part of these monumental sales held live and online this January in New York. Advanced bidding will open January 13th with the first live sale on January 19th. Please note that the exhibition for these sales will all open on January 13th at 10:00am.

18 January | Symposium open to the public January starting at 10 am – Speakers will include Lisa Minardi and John Kolar, among others.
19 January | The Collection of Peter A. Pfaffenroth, selling live in New York at 10 am
22–23 January | The Collection of William K. du Pont, selling live in New York at 10 am 
24 January | Important Americana, selling live in New York at 10 am

In order to attend any of the live sales, registration will be required. Please contact  Bids.NewYork@sothebys.com  or +1 212 606 7414 to reserve a seat and paddle. A mask and proof of vaccination or a negative covid test (within 48 hours of the sale) will be required to attend a live sale.
