Elie Massaoutis joined Sotheby’s in 2007 as a Specialist in the 20th Century Decorative Arts department in Paris.
He began his collaboration with Sotheby’s in the Geneva Jewellery department while at university. After three years specialising at a Decorative Arts gallery dedicated to French works from the 1930s, he broadened his expertise to include French works from the end of the 1960s and 1970s.
Mr Massaoutis is writing a book about the furniture designer, Michel Boyer.
He studied at the University of Geneva, Switzerland.
