For three days last June, Sotheby’s London hosted a pop-up version of Osteria Francescana, the three-Michelin-starred restaurant founded by Massimo Bottura. One of the world’s most celebrated chefs, Bottura has invented dishes inspired by art and artists, from Picasso to Damien Hirst.
Bottura is bringing his culinary artistry to Sotheby's New York for two private dinners this November. The menu is still being finalized, but these behind-the-scenes photos from Sotheby's London reveal the museum-worthy culinary experience that is in store.
Shown here, the Hirst-inspired “Beautiful Psychedelic Spin-painted veal, not flame grilled.”
