LONDON – Oliver Dabbous’s eponymous restaurant on London’s Whitfield Street has been labeled a “game changer,” with Dabbous himself dubbed “the most wanted chef in Britain.” Opened in 2012 with his co-proprietor Oskar Kinberg, the restaurant deploys seasonal, simple food in inventive and innovative dishes with a waiting list of the great clamouring for a table. As he prepares to present an exclusive dinner at Sotheby’s in advance of our contemporary art auctions, Oliver Dabbous took a rare break to explore the exhibition and draw up a menu of his favourite works.
