PARIS – Sotheby's is pleased to announce the first sale devoted to creations by François-Xavier and Claude Lalanne, unclassifiable French sculptors known for using nature and animals as their subjects. Their oeuvre will be represented by an ensemble of 76 pieces spanning 50 years of creation. Epoxy sheep, toad armchairs, bird lamps, lily candleholders, etching ducks, butterfly wall lamps, apple mouths and many other sculptures will be feature in this incredible tribute sale.
