A Ludwigsburg porcelain sugar bowl and cover
circa 1770
painted on either side with an Oriental battle scene or a campsite beneath the gilt lattice border, the cover with military trophies and affixed with a finial in the form of a seated lion, crowned interlaced Cs in underglaze-blue.
