Condition

Overall, the condition of the wood is good, with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. The wood has been painted and has been later refreshed in some areas. There are two stable, slightly visible original joints running from shoulders vertically down to the base. There are various patches of repainting (where the original paint has been lost), including to the forehead, around the base, to the proper left thigh, and to the knees. The surface of the base is slightly uneven, and there is minor craquelure to the paint. There is some wear to the nose.
