Original unlined condition. The work presents well and the colors remain vibrant. The work is thinly painted towards the edges; there are small scattered areas of minor abrasion, namely at left along the lower ledge edge. Minor losses at extreme edges covered by current framing; a few additional smaller losses in the tree at center. In the sky there is a 1 inch diagonal surface level crack with some associated loss; and a pin dot of discoloration. Under UV: varnish fluoresces green unevenly. No apparent signs of retouching but a few small areas where pigments fluoresce.
