Condition

Examined in the frame. Lined. The surface presents well and appears bright and fresh. There is scattered barely visible craquelure and horizontal and vertical stretcher bar marks visible in the sky at upper right, with some minor frame abrasion along the upper edge. Under UV: there is brushy inpainting in the upper right corner and along the upper right edge (somewhat visible to the naked eye); and a few fine pin dots of inpainting along the upper edge to address prior frame abrasion. There is a brushy area of retouching near the upper left edge and a very few dots of retouching in the sky, with some additional brushy fluorescence in the sky that is likely inherent.
