The movement is in working condition at the time of cataloguing. The case with very minor signs of wear, hardly visible with the naked eye, otherwise in very good condition. All diamonds are intact. Unveiled by Yves Piaget in 1979 as a Bracelet-Watch rather than a wristwatch only, the Polo quickly became a quintessential in the world of watches, especially after Ursulla Andress was seen wearing it at the World Polo Cup in Palm Beach, in 1980. Originally made as a luxury sport bracelet watch and inspired by the elegance of polo clubs and players, the Polo has seen many variations in its 30-year existence, from the most sporty versions to the most refined ones.

The present lot is a commemorative edition made to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the original Polo. Made in a unisex 37.5 mm, this refined white gold and diamond-set automatic limited edition is numbered 069/150. It is furthermore set with a total of 274 diamonds for a total approximative weight of 2.7 carats.
