Condition

The swans in overall good appearance and generally good condition, the example in the right of the illustration with a flat chip to a waterweed at base. The mounts: gilding in good condition with scattered minor rubbing, scratches and surface residue. The candelabra arms are joined to the base via two attached bolts which thread into the base and are held in place by nuts. On one the arm is slightly loose but stable. On the other, one of the bolts has broken off and is no longer present, so the arm is detached on one side. The arm remains upright in place, but would benefit from professional attention.
