Condition

The rim of the cover with a small restored chip, perhaps a slither chip to the rim edge, with a small associated area of spray which has discolored slightly. There is an area of re-gilding to the rim edge measuring approximately 1.1cm wide. There is a small flat shallow chip to rim edge 0.4cm wide to rim edge at reverse. The left tip of the dolphin's tail fin has been chipped and restored. The base section is in good condition. There is some typical very minor gilding rubbing to the rims where the two pieces touch.
