This edition, whilst largely the same as the first edition (see lot 70), includes at the end an additional section (comprising two treatises), A briefe description of universall maps and cardes, and of their use. And also the use of Ptolomey his tables (pp.747-799), which has several references to America. There are 3 volvelles in this edition compared with 4 in the first edition (the illustration at p.301 has no volvelle, whereas the same illustration in the first edition, at fol. 145, does).
