Mallock's machine was capable of solving up to six simultaneous linear algebraic equations. The only working model, built in 1933 by Cambridge Instrument Company, was eventually dismantled (Haroon Ahmed, Cambridge Computing: the first 75 years, 2013, p.24). Wilbur's machine was a similar device.
