Henry Bond 1676, inscription on endpaper; Charles Turner (1886-1973), bequest in 1968 to Keele University (deaccessioned in 1998), bookplate; bought from Simon Finch, London, 2000

Henry Bond (c.1600-1678), whose ownership inscription is on the endpaper, was a teacher of mathematics, navigation and surveying in London, author of a book on longitude (1676), editor of The Seamans Kalendar and of the posthumous works of Samuel Foster and of Edmund Gunter.
