“This volume comprises two tables, one of the logarithms of natural numbers and the other of logarithms of the sine and tangent functions. The latter is an unusual table in that each degree is divided into 100 parts (each being thirty-six seconds of arc). It is only the second such table printed (the first was by Henry Briggs and Henry Gellibrand in the same year)” (Tomash & Williams).
