This is a later edition of the work that made Riese famous, which was first published in 1522. Riese describes the use of a calculating board (a kind of table-abacus) and calculations using arabic numerals. The manuscript additions include a 16-page tract on the Resurrection, various diary entries, accounts, records of births, deaths and other memoranda of the von Sahl family, dated from 1539 to 1692.
