A textbook of elementary arithmetic by the Superintendent of Braunschweig, a close associate of Melanchton, and active promoter of his pedagogical ideas. The “Candido Lectori salutem” is dated at Braunschweig, 8 August 1548. Smith cites a previous edition of 1543 which is otherwise unknown.
