Rome: Stamperia di San Michele per Paolo Giunchi, 1787, 8vo, engraved portrait, contemporary vellum, (Edward Sang (1805-1890), note of purchase from the library of Sir John Leslie (1766-1832) dated 20 February 1833; Sang had been Leslie’s student, and later his assistant, and probably acquired this volume in the auction sale of Leslie’s library, commenced in Edinburgh by John Carfrae, on 12 February 1833; bought from Pickering & Chatto, London, 1994), [T&W L72], slightly damp-stained
