拍品資料及來源

Danti's work was originally published in 1569 with the title Trattato dell'uso et della fabbrica dell'astrolabio (see lot 144). This is the second, much enlarged edition of this important work on the astrolabe and planisphere. A projected second volume was never published. The second and third parts of the work by Euclid are the text of Heliodorus of Larissa (also known as Damianus) in Italian, Greek and Latin, published here for the first time.
