These chairs are accompanied by a certificate of authenticity by Denis Vincenot. Beginning in the 1950s Diego Giacometti started creating his poetic bronze furniture welded together by hand and composed much like works of art. The two wonderful and elegant chairs, featuring bronze ornaments as well as lion heads resting on their armrests, are reminiscent of the materialization of his brother Alberto’s sculptures. With the present works Diego Giacometti created two perfectly shaped chairs which rank among the most beautiful Design objects of the 20th century.
