Etching, circa 1635, a very good impression, presumably New Hollstein's second state (of four)
Condition
Trimmed within the plate mark slightly affecting the subject, otherwise in good condition, with a few pale stains around the sitter's head and cap, a minuscule tear along the lower sheet edge toward the left corner, the lower left corner reinforced, glued to the backboard at intervals along sheet edges verso with associated creasing, unframed.
