The sheet has been laid down onto a conservation sheet. There are historic and restored losses to all four corners with possible Artist's pinholes to the upper and lower right corners. There are further more minor losses to the edges at intervals, which have all been restored. There is a probable restored tear to the left edge towards the lower left corner. There is a probable restored spot of wear towards the centre of the upper edge. None of the above is visible in the present mount. There is a fleck of foxing to the upper right of the left model's head. There is some staining to all four edges, possibly as a result of a previous mount and not visible in the present mount.
