南宋 龍泉窰青釉琮式瓶

modelled after an archaic jade cong, each long edge of the square-sectioned body with eight raised horizontal bands within a raised rectangular frame, all supported on a short foot and surmounted by a gently tapered neck, covered overall save for the footring with a lustrous celadon glaze draining to pale bluish-white at the raised edges and pooling to sea-green at the recessed areas

There is restoration to one corner of the rim and another to the side of the vase to one corner around a third of the way down (approx 4.5cm long). There are also two areas of bruising to the rim, one with an associated circa 6.5cm zigzag hairline crack.There is also a chip to one corner at the top, with an associated 3.2cm hairline crack running diagonally from this. There is a fine hairline crack running the length of the vase near one corner, which has been stabilized from the interior. There is a 1.8cm by 5mm shallow glaze flake/flaw to a corner next to this. Some frits and minor flakes to the edges.

此類琮式瓶，形與色皆仿高古玉器，乃宋瓷典型之一。玉琮，器呈中空柱狀，並非容器，以中國東南部良渚文化所產玉琮尤為著名。上海博物館收藏一佳例，曾展於《良渚文化珍品展》，香港歷史博物館，香港，1992年，編號57。 可參考龍泉窰琮式瓶數例，出自各國重要收藏。一例現藏上海博物館，圖錄於《龍泉青瓷》，北京，1966年，圖版15。《故宮宋瓷圖錄．龍泉窰、哥窰及其他各窰》載一例，東京，1974年，圖版8及9。Eumorfopoulos 藏一例，現存倫敦維多利亞與艾伯特博物館，見 John Ayers，《Far Eastern Ceramics in the Victoria and Albert Museum》，倫敦，1980年，圖版 124。Oppenheim 收藏也有一例，現存倫敦大英博物館，載於羅森編，《The British Museum Book of Chinese Art》，倫敦，1992年，圖版8左。

戶栗舊藏有一類似之瓶，售於倫敦蘇富比2004年6月9日，編號53。Baron Hatvany 也有一例，曾展於《Song Ceramics》，東南亞陶瓷學會，新加坡，1983年，編號36，售於倫敦蘇富比1996年11月5日，編號605。
