The reference 2483 was available during four years only, between 1950 and 1954. It was produced with either centre or subsidiary seconds, and with the screw down waterproof case back. The examples belonging to the second series, such as the present lot, used the hexagonal screw down case back. This particular watch, the Ref 2483 SC (sweep seconds) is the only watch that should use the Cal: 27SC movement.
