SAPPHIRE AND DIAMOND BRACELET

The front composed of five links, each set with a cushion-shaped sapphire weighing 4.17, 5.94, 6.12, 6.66 and 6.94 carats respectively, within borders of brilliant-cut diamonds, to a belcher link chain, length approximately 180mm, British hallmarks.

Condition

Accompanied by five gemmological reports from the Gem & Pearl Laboratory, nos. 15538, 15536, 15537, 15533 and 15535, stating that the five sapphires are of Sri Lankan (Ceylon) origin, with no indications of heat treatment. Sapphires weighing 4.17, 5.94, 6.12, 6.66 and 6.94 carats, measuring 9.4 x 8.1 x 5.4mm (4.17 carats) 11.0 x 8.3 x 6.5mm (5.94 carats), 10.1 x 9.0 x 6.8mm (6.12 carats), 11.6 x 10.4 x 5.9mm (6.66 carats) and 10.6 x 10.3 x 6.8mm (6.94 carats). British hallmarks for 18 carat gold, London, date letter t for 2018, sponsor's mark MIN. Lobster claw clasp and bail fitting each additionally stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Sapphires mid violet-blue, transparent, with typical inclusions visible to the naked eye, some surface-reaching, some with very minor chips to areas of the facet edges. Diamonds approximately H-I colour, VS clarity on average, estimated total diamond weight approximately 1.50 - 1.70 carats. Links well-articulated, lobster-claw clasp secure.
