SAPPHIRE AND DIAMOND NECKLACE

Designed in the Etruscan revival style, composed of a flexible collar, each end modelled as a lion's head set with circular-cut sapphires and brilliant-cut diamonds, their eyes set with circular-cut rubies, their mouths gripping a pendant set with frosted rock crystal cabochon inset with a design of two lions, the clasp similarly set with circular-cut sapphires and brilliant-cut diamonds, length approximately 480mm. 

Reverse stamped with Greek letters Ω ξ. 12 and 750. Frosted rock crystal in good condition, with light surface scratches. Diamonds bright and lively. Sapphire and rubies of mid colour, with some surface wear. Light scratches to metal surfaces and minor surface discolouration to each lion head. Clasp opens quite easily. Overall in good condition. Gross weight approximately 145 grams. Accompanied by a pouch.
