Condition

The work is in excellent condition. Executed on cream laid paper. The work is t-hinged to a mount along the edge of the verso at upper left and upper right. The colors, particularly the reds, are bright and fresh. There are artist pinholes at all four corners. Remnants of tape on upper, left, and right edges from a previous mounting, which are not visible when framed. Some possible staining along the lower left and right edges, though this is not visible when the work is framed nor does it detract overall from the sheet. The bottom edge is deckled.
In response to your inquiry, we are pleased to provide you with a general report of the condition of the property described above. Since we are not professional conservators or restorers, we urge you to consult with a restorer or conservator of your choice who will be better able to provide a detailed, professional report.
