Condition

This work is in good condition overall. There is evidence of light surface soiling, dust accumulation and a few, scattered pinpoint surface accretions. The pigment separation visible is consistent with the artist's choice of medium and working method. Only visible under close inspection, there is evidence of wear and handling to the corners and turning edges with associated minor losses to the perimeter and corners. A few of the impastoed peaks are slightly dulled and there is stable hairline pigment craquelure throughout with a few, very minor pinpoint losses, only visible under close inspection. Under Ultraviolet light inspection, there is no evidence of restoration. Framed.
