This work is in very good condition. Uneven edges and delicate hanging fragments of paper are intrinsic to artist's choice medium and method of execution. Framed under Plexiglass.

葡萄牙藝術家亞歷山大·法爾托又名維里斯，他擅於運用特殊工具和非比尋常的技巧，將牆面和不同材質表面的外層部分移除，以極具象徵性的作品反思身份個性、都市生活方式、時間流逝，以及人類與環境相互依存的關係，創立獨特的視覺語彙。維里斯依照他運用其他媒材的創意破壞原則，顛覆傳統以來的絲網印刷技術，透過漂染的方式將圖像從吸滿墨水的紙上抽出，過程中讓他從飽和表面呈現圖像，他亦以同一原理雕鑿混凝土牆，穿至牆身內層，從而展示圖像。藝術家在留駐香港期間創下此作，當時他正籌備其二〇一六年三月由香港當代藝術基金會舉辦的個展〈Debris〉。
