《美人胡為隔秋水》乃郎靜山運用「集錦」技法創作的裸體人物。莊靈老師指出，裸女前方的薄紗狀如葉脈，乃葉脈標本製成之底片，與人像前後複合沖印而成，營造雖近猶遠，可望而不可即之意境。
