Accompanied by SSEF report no.73433 stating that the cabochon sapphire weighing approximately 20 carats and measuring approximately 13.55 x 12.35 x 10.80mm, is of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating, 'royal blue' colour. Sapphire weighing 17.39 carats, blue of strong saturation, 'royal blue' colour, with very good transparency, some minor typical inclusions visible under 10 x magnification, minor scratches. For more information on the sapphire, please refer to the SSEF report. Diamonds bright and lively, two small diamonds deficient. Scratches to the metal consistent with normal use, evidence of resizing. Circa 1930. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 7 grams.
