Condition
The movement in working condition at the time of cataloguing, chronograph and split second set. Tourbillon rotates smoothly. It was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement. The dial and hands in very good condition. Case in good condition without any obvious sign of wear. Overall in very good condition.

Richard Mille於1999年研發RM008型號腕錶系列，以革新現代設計糅合高端複雜機芯，創下品牌最精密複雜的腕錶。RM008揉合RM004型號追針計時腕錶的特質，在這個基礎上內置由85部分組成的陀飛輪，僅重0.34克，精緻輕巧，將製錶工藝推向嶄新境界，當中裝嵌及調校過程，更需時數月之久。
作為Richard Mille精製系列之一，RM008陀飛輪追針計時腕錶配備各式複雜功能，設計源自現代建築概念，各項功能及技術達致最佳效果，美學與理論得以完美平衡。導柱輪以幾何結構設計，確保機芯同步操控，使追針飛返計時的能量消耗減至最低。
RM008除了具備高端複雜的陀飛輪追針計時機芯，其發條盒右方12時至1時位置更配備精密扭力顯示，標示主游絲張力狀況，如顯示低於53顯示值，則反映游絲過鬆；相反若達65顯示值，過度張力便會對機芯運作帶來損壞。
