Accompanied by SSEF report numbered 87097, stating that forty-one pearls tested are saltwater natural pearls and with no indications of artificial colour modification. Clasp mounted in platinum as tested. Pearls are of round, ovoid and button-shaped, light greyish brown to brown and grey to brownish grey body colour, very good lustre and orient, some with rosè or green overtones, some with minor surface blemishes but not noticeable when worn. Marquise-shaped diamond weighing approximately 1.50 carats, about G-H colour, VS clarity; and diamond beads weighing approximately 9.50 carats are about H-J colour, VS-SI clarity, some with minor chips; as gauged and graded in the mounting. Clasp with signs of normal wear to the metal, in very good condition.

黑珠魅力

天然珍珠乃最為珍貴的寶石之一，其獨有的美態和珍稀的程度，令它自遠古時代已經是權力和地位的象徵 。

如果想好好欣賞珍珠歷久不衰之美，先要明白其形成的過程完全是大自然間偶然發生的現象。珍珠跟一般的寶石不一樣，它在被開採的時候已經有了固定的體貌，無需切割打磨去帶出它的光澤。大自然那不可言喻的力量使得每一顆珍珠都變得獨一無二，它們身上會有其生長的狀態和環境所烙下的印記。珍珠的美在於它的色彩和表面泛起的渾光，珍珠越大、皮光越厚、 色彩越吸引，稀有度和重要性隨之以倍數遞增。時至今日，天然海水珍珠比以往更為稀有難求，原因是其天然產地已經接近枯竭，市場只能依賴舊收穫進行交易，這此珍珠有些採自幾十年前，有些可能已經有幾百年的歷史。

在各種珍珠品種之中，黑珍珠最為珍貴的，在各國的皇室貴族藏品中都不難發現它的蹤影。大部份的黑色珍珠都產自一種名為Pinctada Margaritifera的牡蠣，而珍珠的顏色取決於牡蠣本身的顏色、珍珠在牡蠣都形成的位置，以至於牡蠣生長的水質環境。

黑珍珠的早期藏家中不乏皇室重要人物，包括俄羅斯帝女皇凱薩琳二世，據說她擁有一串三十顆的天然黑珍珠，當中最大的一顆更重達78克。法國拿破倫三世的皇后歐仁妮妃亦對珍珠趨之若䳱，收藏大量的珍珠首飾，當中有一條深灰色的天然珍珠相信花了多年時間收集，才能拼湊成完整的項鏈。

要數傳奇迷人的珍珠項鏈，不得不提英印模特兒和時尚偶像尼娜代爾 (Nina Dyer) 的三行黑色珍珠項鏈。這項鏈上共有151顆相匹配、圓渾及幾近圓渾的天然黑色珍珠，由卡地亞設計，絕對是舉世無雙的珍品。

這近期出現在市場上的灰色珍珠項鏈來自子爵夫人考德雷·皮爾遜 (Cowdray的故藏，整串項鏈共有42顆極為稀有的天然海水珍珠，無論在光澤、形狀和大小各方面都十分匹配，設計更是出自著名珠寶商卡地亞之手。這條品質非凡的天然珍珠項鏈於2015年香港蘇富比的拍場上以530萬美元成交，刷新了天然灰色珍珠的世界拍賣紀錄。
