香吹一夜西風滿，水殿羅衣訝許寒。
六十九年重九後二日，檢得舊製仿宋羅紋紙寫此，並書少作其上。八十二叟爰。

註：本幅選用「大風堂」製仿宋羅紋箋。或截切之餘紙，尺寸非四尺或六尺整幅，面積略近正方型。畫家遂因材而製，非慣用橫幅或直幅之構圖佈局，故無橫延或聳立之花葉，卻以數幅葉塊恣意張放，橫亘堆叠佔據畫面下方，參差荷梗從中迸伸而上，或花或葉迎風招展。畫面呈高低層次，不少枝蔓穿於兩者間，形成茂密豐滿之池塘貌。畫中墨融花青，交叠調協，渾厚華滋，極得水氣瀰漫之潤澤。大千寫來筆勢飛動，一枝一葉佈置似隨意卻得妥貼自然之效，氣魄韻味俱攝，可謂快意之作！
