the rectangular top comprised of a single panel enclosed within a mitered frame with subtly canted corners, above field-paneled sides, the back finished and with a lively cusped apron, the front fitted with four drawers, all raised on four square-section, beaded-edge legs, joined by a continuous openwork 'cracked ice' stretcher

The top panels with some staining from use and there is slight shrinkage. The feet and lower legs with some repaired splitting. There has been overall consolidation of the joinery. The latticework also consolidated and two elements with repaired breaks. The drawers with soft wood bases, two of which are split. There is wear overall from age and use.
