喜慶愉悅的生命感悟
《構圖》以絢麗的紅、橘、黃色編織而成，滿載東方色彩語彙中幸福、喜慶之象徵。利落靈動的線條在光曦中愜意徜徉，勝似微觀宇宙裡的生命演化不息、欣欣向榮，在大地之上孕育滋長，繼而照亮周遭一片，逐漸昇華。最上方的深邃紅暈，則似盡未盡，隱喻天際之外，尚有無限穹蒼，引發觀者想像。
道家哲學對生命有著深刻而詩意盎然的體會，西晉學者郭象曾指出：「夫小大雖殊，而放於自得之場，則物任其性，事稱其能，各當其分，逍遙一也，豈容勝負於其間哉！」反映主體與客體之間和諧並存，並生不悖的追求。朱德群深好老莊，其自況於六十歲後繪畫臻於圓融，處理畫面再無罣礙，任何空間都成為其「自得之場」，無論人生抑或藝術，都進入逍遙自在之境，《構圖》載寓之積極能量，似乎是藝術家當年之寫照，亦似乎是藝術家從個人生命之愉悅中，體驗到宇宙生命之愉悅，並納須彌於芥子，傾注到作品之上。
