Ultra-violet light reveals a relatively even varnish layer and some minor spots of retouching, notably spots addressing craquelure in the foliage in the middle-distance and in the tree just below the figures. This work is in good overall condition.
The colours are more luminous overall in reality than in the catalogue illustration, which is too dark.
