Colour and Clarity: According to Gübelin, AGL and SSEF reports, the emerald is natural, of Colombian origin, with no indications of clarity enhancement. Gübelin appendix states that “Colombian emeralds of this size and possessing such a high quality with a complete absence of any clarity enhancement are very rare”. AGL JewelFolio states “this gem exhibits the richly saturated and homogeneous, slightly bluish-green color representative of fine-quality emeralds of the Muzo mining area”. Please refer to the reports, JewelFolio and appendix for details. In our opinion, the emerald is of medium deep, saturated green colour, eye clean, nice crystalline lustre. Upon 10x loupe, there are some minor natural inclusions and one tiny pit near a prong, not even noticeable under loupe check and not seen to naked eyes. Diamonds together weighing approximately 0.70 carat are about F to G colours, VS clarity. Condition: Platinum ring mount, in mint condition.
