In good condition. The diamonds are approximately E-G color, VVS-VS clarity. The sapphires are a rich, slightly purplish pink, and are slightly to moderately included. One stone is more included than the other and exhibits a band of color zoning diagonally across the stone which is only noticeable with magnification. Both stones show very minor abrading to the facet junctions visible only under magnification. According to a sketch provided by Oscar Heyman & Brothers, the earclips were originally designed to be worn as pendants suspended from Lot 430. Accompanied by two AGL reports: No. CS 51939 stating that the 10.22 carat sapphire is of Sri Lankan origin, with no indication of heating and no. CS 52091 stating that the 9.87 carat sapphire is of Sri Lankan origin, with indication of heating.
