Condition

The panel is in very good condition considering its age. The painted panel is tightly bound and displays no losses. The nails on the face of the panel have moved overtime and are now more prominent on the surface. Tiny fissures in the paint can be seen around the nail heads. No loss of paint has resulted from this movement. Minor soiling was found on the yellow background as well as the outside edges of the panel. Tiny fissures in the paint were observed in the area of thick white paint. The painted wire is firmly secured to the painted panel.
