The canvas is strip-lined. There is a pattern of vertical craquelure throughout the composition. There are some small areas of retouching towards the lower edge, an area above and to the left of the signature, an area within the blue pigments in the lower part of the composition and to the central white house, all visible under ultra-violet light. There are some areas of fluorescence to the outer framing edges, visible under ultra-violet light. Apart from a minor paint loss towards the centre of the right edge and a small loss to the centre of the left edge within the pale green pigment, this work is in good, stable condition.

Overall fairly accurate in the printed catalogue illustration, although the colours are slighty fresher in the original.
