18-cm brass dial with foliate pierced spandrels, engraved silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals, foliate pierced hands and silvered alarm disc, apertures for date and moonphase in the arch in between foliate engraving signed J. P. Kroese Amsterdam, fusee movement with foliate engraved similarly signed backplate converted to anchor escapement, trip repeating rack Dutch half hour striking on alternating bells, pullwind alarm on the large bell, burr walnut veneered case with inverted bell top surmounted by a handle and four finials, foliate pierced wood frets to the sides, glazed front and back door with canted sides, moulded plinth raised on brass bracket feet
