OVERVIEW
This remarkable single-owner collection would be the envy of any wine connoisseur given its sheer breadth and depth, impeccable provenance and meticulous storage. Red Bordeaux spans nine decades and features Mouton 1947 and Palmer 1961, both in magnum, and more modern classics such as Latour 1982 and Haut Brion 1989, Mouton and Pétrus 2000. Luscious Yquem is offered in 25 vintages from 1906 to 2008 and in a variety of formats. This is Bordeaux displayed at its very best.
Domaine de la Romanée Conti leads the Burgundy selection, including two Jeroboams of La Tâche 1983 and a six-bottle case of Romanée-Conti 2001. There is further delectable Burgundy from Leroy, Rousseau, de Vogüé, Faiveley, Leflaive and Sauzet as well as Grande Marque Champagne in parcel quantities, with Krug 1990 and Dom Pérignon Rosé 2000 topping the bill. Italy’s iconic estate wines are represented by Sassicaia 1985, Ornellaia 1996, Solaia 2007 and majestic Sorì Tildin and Sorì San Lorenzo from Gaja.
