Assembled sixty years ago, the second collection offered this November reflects the impeccable standards of a great connoisseur of furniture and 18thcentury paintings. Some pieces must be noted, like this extraordinary bureau plate stamped BVRB 1st from the Régence period. This collector was particularly fond of sophisticated tables such as this beautiful mahogany table or the other marquetry table mécanique both attributed to Oeben. The collection also features a wonderful set of 18th-century French paintings by Fragonard, Leprince, Deshays and Lancret. One may notice the Venus ordering weapons to Vulcain sketch by François Boucher.
