Please note that Ralph Anspach's unpublished 1990 narrative The Monopoly Detective describes Charles Todd as stating that this set was the one he used when he taught the game of Monopoly to Charles Darrow.
However, in the deposition given 6 February 1975 in the case of Anti-Monopoly, Inc. vs. General Mills Fun Group, Inc., Todd says that he made the present board (which was identified as Plaintiff's Exhibit 10) in 1936 or 1937, which would be after the period that he socialized with Darrow.
