To The Max Foundation
Founded by Utah Jazz Assistant Coach Scott Morrison and his wife Susanne, To The Max Foundation was inspired by their son, Max, following his autism diagnosis.
The Foundation is dedicated to helping autistic individuals and their families live life to the max by championing a message of acceptance, inclusion, and kindness.
This campaign reflects a simple but powerful belief: Autistic individuals don’t need to be changed, they need to be supported, understood, and celebrated.
“Scott and his wife Susanne and To The Max Foundation has had an incredible impact, not only in our community in Utah, but you see it throughout the league. The coaches are supportive of each other. There’s a lot of us that have relationships that go beyond the court and to see everybody be willing to help out with the To The Max Foundation…It reminds you that we all are way more connected than maybe it feels like in the middle of the season.”
Shoe Design
Each pair of sneakers is hand-designed and painted by John Millar of JSM 801 Customs, uniquely crafted for each coach and brought to life in their team’s colors. Every detail is intentional, coming together to tell a broader story of inclusion, community, and possibility. Thoughtful elements are woven throughout the design, including a rainbow infinity symbol—a tribute to neurodiversity and a celebration of the autism community proudly supported through this initiative. In this year’s Air Max edition, “Max” is also prominently featured as a heartfelt nod to Max Morrison, whose inspiration sparked the creation of To The Max Foundation and continues to drive its mission forward.
100% of the proceeds from this auction directly support To The Max Foundation and its mission to uplift autistic individuals and their families.
Funds raised help power programs that create connection, inclusion and unforgettable experiences, including To the Max suite nights which brings autism families and small groups together to enjoy NBA games in an elevated, sensory-friendly space. Every bid helps create moments where autistic individuals feel seen, supported, and celebrated.
