Mark Best is Vice President of Client & Market Analytics and runs Sotheby’s Mei Moses and develops tools to provide clients with transparent, objective, verifiable information so they can make informed decisions. Mr. Best first worked at Sotheby’s from 2000-2001 as a member of the Fine Arts Department. After completing a graduate degree in Art History, he was an equity research analyst at firms such as Goldman Sachs and Evercore Partners. Mr. Best returned to Sotheby's in 2013 as a Prints & Multiples specialist. Mark Best was named to his current position as Vice President for Client & Market Analytics in 2016. Mr. Best holds Masters and A.B. degrees in Art History from Boston University and Princeton University and a Masters of Business Administration from Cornell University.
