Helen Hatch, Assistant Vice President and Fine Art Specialist, is based in Sotheby’s San Francisco office. Ms. Hatch comes to the West Coast after four years at Sotheby’s New York. Her expertise spans the late 19th through 20th centuries, with a particular focus in Prints & Multiples.
Ms. Hatch has worked at both The Metropolitan Museum of Art in the Drawings & Prints Department, and the Williams College Museum of Art. She began her career in the auction world at Christie’s Old Master Paintings & 19th Century European Art department.
Ms. Hatch holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors in Art History from Williams College, and a Master of Philosophy degree in the History of Art from the University of Cambridge, where she was a Herchel Smith Fellow at Emmanuel College.
